Rural Health AI Hub

A statewide center of excellence for evaluating, piloting, and scaling AI tools that improve care quality, reduce administrative burden, and support clinical decision making in rural and underserved settings.

Most rural organizations already have AI running somewhere in the building, often as features their software vendor turned on. The Hub's first job is to help you know what you have, decide what you want, and put a person in charge of it. The second is to make sure Maine's rural providers learn from each other instead of each starting from zero.

WHO WE WORK WITH

The Hub serves care teams and administrators, including the patient side of AI adoption (consent, education, and engagement), rather than leaving it to each organization alone.

  • Federally qualified health centers
  • Rural health clinics and primary care
  • Behavioral health and SUD providers
  • Skilled nursing and long-term care
