MCD's Meeting Services
Meeting Services is a small department located within Medical Care Development who has provided cost conscious logistical support to organizations that outsource their event coordination for the past 17 years. Clients develop events that require professional management. Whether the client is new to meeting planning or a seasoned professional, Meeting Services offers the expertise and logistical services that amplifies each client's internal capabilities and ensures the results they want. Our staff of event coordination experts work as an extension of the client's team to ensure their event is a success. Whether the event is a half-day workshop, a large conference, a camp, or anything in between, our detail-oriented staff can be counted on to manage virtually every aspect of the event. We know what it takes to deliver a successful event having implemented over 300.
Since 1985, we have assisted the Maine Bureau of Health's Divisions of Community and Family Health. Other past and present clients include: Maine Center for Public Health/Harvard School of Public Health, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Maine Rural Geriatric Consortium, Center for Tobacco Independence, Maine American Academy of Pediatrics, Family Planning Association of Maine, Maine Health Access Foundation, Eastern Agency on Aging, People's Regional Opportunity Program, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
