Assisted Living Services for the Elderly

The Residential Care Services Program is the oldest program in the Division.  The four assisted living facilities and subsidized apartment complex provide care to approximately 243 residents throughout Maine.  We strive to help these Mainers maintain quality of life by providing support and assistance for those struggling with the daily aging process.

MCD's goals are for residents to be as self-reliant as they can be, practice individual choice, retain dignity, and participate in activities within the community as much as they want.  To assist residents in reaching these goals, MCD provides staff with many hours of training.  

We are very proud of our oldest program and hope to continue to improve the quality of life for all who reside with us.
