Twenty-one Maine communities now have in place teams trained
to provide coordinated health care treatment for those with
eating disorders. Teams consisting of at least one medical
practitioner, therapist, and registered dietitian are in
Augusta, Bangor, Belfast, Blue Hill, Calais, Camden,
Caribou, Colby, Damariscotta, Ellsworth, Farmington,
Lewiston, Portland, Skowhegan, South Portland, Unity,
Waterville, Windham, and York-Kennebunk-Scarborough, and at
Bowdoin College in Brunswick, and the Long Creek Youth
Development Center in South Portland.
