
Planning for a National Drug Distribution System (1984 - 1986)
In 1984, MCDI was awarded a contract from the Federal Islamic Republic of Comoros, and funded by the World Bank to develop a pharmaceutical supply system.
Project activities included, but were not limited to, the following:
- Development of an inventory and supply control system
- Identification of space and supplies needed for pharmaceutical depots, as well as the establishment of procurement protocols
- Development of a management system for the network of pharmaceutical depots
- Training personnel in inventory control and supply distribution
